High priority freight arrives in Roanoke under the power of BNSF units, and a Norfolk southern locomotive. These containers are headed for the Intermodal facility in Fairburn, GA.
CSX train M221 enters Roanoke with a short consist, and to my surprise with a mid DPU. The mid power unit is CSXT #550. Only 49 cars made up the assortment of freight in tow.
Headed north with loads of phosphate, is lead engine CSX #3030. It crosses Depot St. which is about half way between the north, and south ends of Roanoke.
